University of Iceland Engineering Students Visit Taeknisetur

Second-year engineering students from the University of Iceland visited Taeknisetur on 03.11.2025 as part of their academic program to gain insight into advanced industrial and research practices. During the visit, the students were introduced to the Reveal Project and explored the center’s state-of-the-art research and development facilities.

The students also learned about various advanced technologies available at Taeknisetur, including 3D printing of metals and plastics, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and Leco analysis for material characterization.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity for students to observe cutting-edge technologies and understand their applications in materials science, manufacturing, and process development. Such collaborations aim to strengthen the connection between academic learning and the practical challenges of modern industry.
